Working people can make their own history, but not just as they please. They make it in the conditions of the time, as inherited
from the past.
UNISON and its union forerunners were made by workers in conditions of industrial revolution, capitalist exploitation, political reform and social progress.
Workers and their trades unions have learnt the value of solidarity as they organise to defend, represent and advance their interests.
UNISON Wales is a product of this unity and solidarity, which knows no bounds of gender, race, nationality, sexual orientation, disability, age or religion.
We are proud to be an integral part of the labour movement built by generations of working people.

o’r gorffennol.

gan weithwyr mewn amodau chwyldro diwydiannol, ymelwa cyfalafol, diwygio gwleidyddol a chynnydd cymdeithasol.
Mae gweithwyr a’u hundebau llafur
wedi dysgu gwerth cydsefyll wrth iddynt drefnu i amddiffyn, cynrychioli a hyrwyddo eu buddiannau.
Mae UNSAIN Cymru yn deillio o’r undod a’r cydsefyll hwn, nad yw’n gwybod unrhyw ffiniau o ran rhyw, hil, cenedligrwydd, cyfeiriadedd rhywiol, anabledd, oedran na chrefydd.
Rydym yn falch o fod yn rhan annatod o’r mudiad llafur a adeiladwyd gan genedlaethau o bobl weithiol.
